The Right Way Program
SSA has developed a range of implementation products and services collectively known as the Right Way Program.
The Right Way Program provides industry recognition of:
- Quality training and assessment facilities
- Quality trainers and assessors
- Quality learning resources

Participation
Participants in this industry recognition system must adhere to standards and provide evidence of quality through an application and assessment process operated by SSA and its network of state and territory agencies.
We have also produced a range of Training Package User Guides to help registered training organisations (RTOs) effectively implement our training packages, and deliver training that meets industry's needs.
This program is part of SSA’s strategic work to achieve quality skills outcomes through the service industries.
The Right Way Program is an evolving scheme that will be implemented across Service Skills Australia training packages from 2011.

Industry Recognised Training Facility
RTOs who adhere to the environmental and resource requirements prescribed within the Evidence Guide of Training Package competency standards and more broadly in the Assessment Guidelines can achieve industry recognition of their training facilities. Each facility, positively checked by an industry advisor, will be an industry recognised Right Way Training Facility.

Industry Recognised Trainer & Assessor
Individual trainers and assessors who have the required industry experience, current vocational competencies and a qualification in training and or assessment can achieve industry recognition as an Right Way Trainer and/or Assessor. To maintain this certification, they must participate in professional development activities and should elect to participate in trainer and assessor network activities.

Industry Recognised Training Resource
Developers of any type of training and or assessment resource designed to align to a service industry Training Package can achieve industry recognition of the material as an Right WayTraining Resource. Developers can be any type of organisation including RTOs.

Benefits
Industry strongly advises training organisations, assessors and resource developers to seek Right Way recognition. Whilst there’s no obligation, it does indicate those who participate meet the quality requirements set by the service industries, and are engaging in best practice.
