RESEARCH OFFICER

Service Skills Australia has a challenging full-time research position located in the heart of the CBD. This dynamic role would suit a person with experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research projects. The Research Officer will work collaboratively and effectively with other members of the research team, other staff across the organisation as well as members of our industry advisory committees.

To be successful for this position, you should possess the following:
Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others while also being motivated by your own initiative.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft and statistical software applications.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of ABS statistics, NCVER statistics and/or VET system highly desirable.
  • Experience working with committees highly desirable.
